JFETs
A junction field effect transistor (JFET) is a type of junction, usually based on a transistor type, that provides the lowest on-resistance RDS(on) per unit area and is a robust device. It is also less prone to failure than traditional MOSFET devices and is compatible with circuit breaker and current limiting applications. In wide bandgap material implementations, JFETs are known for their excellent efficiency, including low power loss, high reliability and robustness, and ease of use.
